From time to time, for various reason, we actually have both airplanes out of the water and on the hangar floor. They look pretty cool and it makes the little Cessna 185 look a lot bigger. I can even walk under the tail without hitting my head. Our floating hangar and airplane hoisting system are awesome. Flying float planes is awesome too!

Look at those dirty floats.
It's a constant battle keeping the grime off of the floats. However, having them a little dirty on the bottom actually improves takeoff performance because it helps break the suction of the water at high speeds.
Sweet hangar!
i have a pic of Charlie Brown from 1971, when it's landed for the very first time on the Nanga Pinoh airstrip.
yesterday i told my dad that charlie brown is still at service, and he was like shocked and can't believe that charlie brown still flying.
oh i always wanted to fly with those airplanes. Sean, i wondering, may i come and follow your flying activities for full week (not full week, maybe a day or two), is that possible?
hahaha...that's was just my thought. i always wanted to be a missionary bush pilot like you. it would be very great since i can't make it to be a real pilot.
thanks

@Irvan...that is cool that you have such an old pic of MCB. If you have a digital file, I would love a copy via email. If you can ever make it to PalangkaRaya, let us know beforehand, maybe we could fit you on a flight. Blessings...
