One of my training trips this past May had me in Spokane, Washington. On a free weekend, I took a trip to see friends in neighboring Idaho. The road took me through the Palouse region of Idaho and Washington. What an incredible landscape. My friend described it as driving through the Shire, as seen in the Lord of the Rings movies. It was beautiful!
I would love to make it back to this region during harvest for early morning or late evening. The mix of mountains, rolling hills, farms, pine trees, and rivers made for an incredible landscape that I barely captured with my camera.
